Over the August Bank Holiday we give the Kids at the Hospice a packed weekend. Starting on Saturday afternoon Rita gives all the Kids a driving lesson in her grown up Mini. One year a 9 year old wiped out one of the flower beds but no one cared.

Six children aged eight to 15 had a go and they really loved it. There were no crashes this year and the children stayed out of the flowerbeds - I think they were being particularly careful.

This year they are going to join us on a short cruise around Bideford and Westward Ho!. Sunday they see us off from Bideford Park and on Monday they see us off from Westward Ho! and meet us in Ilfracombe.
