In Aid of the Messy Play Room 3 appeal for the new Children’s Hospice being built in Cornwall.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR A MINI OWNERS DOG SHOW. So bring all the family including the dog. The Classes for the dog show are:-
1 Prettiest girl dog
2 Most handsome boy dog
3 Waggiest tail
4 Most appealing eyes
5 Best trick
6  Most lookalike to owner
7 Best fancy dress
Rosettes and a certificate will be awarded to the winner of each class and every entrant will receive a bag of treats. Entrance is free.  STARTS ABOUT 11-30am
 

We will be using Dartington Crystal Car Park which is tarmac but there is a large grass area if you want to bring a picnic. There is also a restaurant on site and they will be doing cream teas at a special price for the mini owners.

The event will start (not too early) say about 10-00am and all you have to do is turn up and park. No club stands as such. Every mini that turns up automatically gets entered in the show & shine and every mini owner attending gets a booklet of voting slips and becomes a judge. There will also be a prize for “This mini will not win a prize today” so every one gets a chance to win one of the fantastic iceberg trophies donated by Dartington Crystal. We hope to do the prize giving about 3-00pm, so it won’t be a long day.

As with all our events this year will we not be putting the price up.
We will only charge you £3-00 to get in but if you would like to donate more you’re welcome. Children under 16 go in free. We will try and take a few more pounds off you but in a fun way.

Dartington Crystal is very much a family orientated show and we give great thought, to stop the children getting bored. So we will have our normal set up of games, where the children can pay a £1-00 and have a go on them all and at the end they will win a prize. They will also get their own voting slip and there will be a children’s choice prize. There will also be face painting and maybe a coconut shy. We hope it will give Mum & Dad a bit of a rest and a chance to enjoy the minis.

This event is part of the Small Cars Big Hearts 50K for 50 years appeal celebrating 50 years of the mini and every penny raised will be going to the children’s Hospice SW and they will get the money the next day.
