This years Christmas meal once again takes place at the Riversford Hotel on Saturday 1st December at 7-00pm. It will be a little different because we are going to incorporate a race horse meeting into the evening. We have held race meetings before and they have been a great deal of fun. The meal will be a hot buffet and will consist of a full Christmas menu. It was suggested last year that we try something different. This has always been a popular night with the members and is always a great deal of fun. It also gives everyone a chance to meet each other and chat. We have nutcases who come from afar every year, sometimes we tell them the wrong Hotel but they always turn up because they love our Christmas do.

The races are all on DVD and we will have 8 races, each race will have 8 horses.
If you would like to have a bet then it is 50p a go. A percentage of the winnings will go to the CHSW the rest will be divided up between the winners. We hope to have sponsors for all of the races. To sponsor a race will cost £10 and the last race will be a sponsors race. The winning sponsor will get £40 back with £40 going to the CHSW.

We are also going to sell the horses at £2-50 each and the winning horse in each race will receive £10 with another £10 going to the CHSW. The owners of the Horses also get to name them.
