Hi Terry/Linda

Can you please put me (and Ralph) down for LEJOG 2006 and Paul (do idea who his co-driver is yet!!) down too....

Ta

I know that we are fundraising as a whole under "Team Tatty" again for 2006, but I know that Paul's mini will have a different team name - possibly "Team Scruffbag"...

Also does that mean I get to apply for stand space at shows to fundraise for me, paul, ralph, michelle, carol, rita and andrew at shows up here under SERNDMR???!!!

Do you want me to get some window sticker made. I am so lucky when ever I get fed up someone or some thing always turns up to make me smile. Today I had a home made card from the Hospice clan. It makes it all worth while

Awwww Terry that is so sweet of them.....

I have something a little different planned for Team Tatty stickers if I can pull it off...

As for Grand tour, Team Tatty has something very cool planned, its just whether I can do it or not, if I can pull it off, the kids will go wild, if not, its back to the drawing board...

Last dribs and drabs of 2005 sponsor money coming in, hopefully in next couple of weeks I can finally write the cheques to the charities, wanted to do it weeks ago now, but people wont pay up as promised....

Bar stewards!

We've only got one who didn't pay up but we honestly think she forgot to put the cheque in the envelope so we've got to tackle that diplomatically.

We've had a few odd bits coming in to add to the kitty, plus the money Rita raised when she sold the green bear. She just needs to get a yellow car now!

spoke to the pub owners and they dont have a problem with putting a collection tin on the bar. also i might be able to get one at work, if we can fill a Bernardos tin in under a week im sure my customers will fill up a bucket on no time!

see this is exactly why you have to lead LEJOG. With that comment you must recognise that you are very well suited for the job. (i'm too normal)

Just to update every one thinking of doing Lejog 20 minis and  John is going to take his 4x4 and the trailer as a back up  which mean  we hope to take both of the new gazebos, somewhere to sit in the evening except Moffet of course where we will be sitting in a pub.  Hard to imagin after 7 years people have started to take a interest I wonder why must be something to do with nut cases taking part.

I will sort out the info for you and of course Pat can do it  The trailer John is taking, is the Hunter box trailer, Mitsubishi is sponsoring him for the petrol so we should be able to take the odd spare or 2. At last we have cracked it, a back up vechicle. We are going to get the Trailer sign written.

Are you sure it will only take up half the trailer, the other half your dad can use for his make up.

Matt could always iron your hair for you. More room in the trailer for the fridge etc could your dad fit a shower and sink maybe and how about a heater. Us females like our creature comforts.

Don't panick I know how much everyone is waiting for everything but I only have about 6/8 weeks in my workshop before they pull it down if I do not get my garage built I will be working in a gazebo on the side of the A39 between bideford and Barnstable  somewhere. The good news is once it is up I will be able to sort out most problems first thing in the morning as I will be working from home.

CHEDDAR!
we could do you a good deal on a rather large white gazebo, complete with sides that would probably fit about 3 minis, i wouldnt recommend it for wet days!

in the deep distant past, when the old bird and i did our first LEJOG, and Mini technically belonged to the old bird (although i've always considered it mine and technically it now belongs to me...) we were going to get valeted as a special treat, and to get all the grass and mud etc out.

Well, today we finally made good on our promise to our little four wheeled friend - it only took 6 years but WOW - what a shiny little it is. It probably looks better now than when it was new - there's shiny bits where shiny bits have got no right shining.

it's a shame that my garage roof is only half a garage roof, and will get dirty quicker than you can say , but for this brief moment in time, 6+ years later looks beeeyootiful!

Another 5 LEJOGS and we might do it again!

Charlie what social are you going to next???? We should hopefully get our first batch of sponsor logos and logos for our collection pots over the next week or two, so if your offer of pots in your local pubs stands, we would love to take you/them up on it....
