Good morning all. I haven't got a favourite biscult eat anything when I am hungry. Busy putting a mini back together just stopping for a cup of coffee and a plain digestive. But I am here but not for long.

ASDA is a bit further, but I do like it there..............its always so busy though. At least at Tesco I don't have to queue at the checkouts.(biggrin2)market (sorry about the smilie - can't find a trolley smilie)

i'm glad you liked the trollies! course now we get on to tea dunking biscuits, i have to say fruit shortcake bisuits are quite simply divine! party rings are dunkable, obviously, but i think the fruit shortcakes might have it when soggy!!

you won't convince me i'm afraid. the only problem is sometimes the raisins drop out of the biscuit, and you get to the bottom of the cup and it looks like a fly has wandered in and karked it. it's quite upsetting for a moment, but then i make another cup of tea and eat more biscuits.

they do still make fig rolls, and they were quite delicious - although i may have eaten too many. on that note mr tescos delivery man has just bought my shopping, so i'm all stocked up on party rings now!!!!!!

he wouldn't waste time with something as pointless as (cough ginger nuts). i've got ronnie and reggie on ferrying the biscuits up all the stairs. it is one disadvantage of living in a second floor flat, but my cats are very helpful..... NOT. i prefer asda too, but always spend too much money, and they don't deliver yet in this area...

Saint Asda is Heaven (p2_angel) We have one by my cottage in Cornwall. But as we live (Most of the Time) in Torquay Sir Tesco is Easy awaiting opening of Saint Asda in 'New Town of the Abbot' (Newton Abbot) & yes we did get the odd Ginger Nut & lots of dog food for 'Toby'

About 25 years ago my train journey to work took me past Peek Frean's factory where they made Garibaldi, Bourbon, etc. There was was always a wonderful aroma of biscuits in the air.
Just went Googling and found that an exhibition about the facory has just opened nearby courtesy of the Heritage Lottery Fund and part of it will be to recreate that wonderful smell..........

i bet the biscuit factory aroma doesn't compare to the chocolate factory aroma. i've been to Cadbury's and driven past Terry's chocloate factory in York, and the smell was just pure heaven...(p2_angel)

Apparently our house is built on the site of an old chocolate factory, which closed down around 1960ish. The company was called Helm Royal - we're told that the chocolate was awful so nobody bought it.
This time the search engines have let me down as I can't find anything about it.
