MOT times 2.  Roo will hopefully not need a lot, oh apart from a Carb jet and balance and windscreen wipers.

The 1275 needs wipers as well and skuttle and offside wing and some gear box work.

Go to get 1 done before the end of October..........GGrrrrrrrrrrr

my mini is being serviced ready for use, as i tuck my motorbike up for the winter (i'm such a fair weather biker these days) and get ready to bring mini to live with me and let the bike stay with the old bird!

i'm getting the windscreen seal replaced by my man wot does in the hopes that the rain will stay on the outside - (if i can just get that to happen in my flat as well i'll be laughing! )

it has got this very classy sounding rattle, which we thought was the wheel arch - turns out it's not and we haven't got the foggiest what it is now! c'est la vie!

See thats what you get for boasting about the only problem you have is the pop rivet comeing out of the wheel arch when the rest of us were moaring about the work we have to do to our minis. Are you sure you have not left the biscuit tin in the back pocket.

the windscreen is now sealed, and looking very classy, and the rattle is fixed. when old bird asked what it was they couldn't remember, so i'm guessing it can't have been very serious. maybe they'll mention it on the bill when i get it!

now to get the bike serviced and tucked up for the winter....

well it hasn't rained too much lately, but i'm sure it will leak like a good un. having a battle with the council (sounds familiar) to get double glazing put in which they reckon is 'detrimental to the character of the street scene'. it's not like my building is even a listed one - it's just in a conservation area - could have fooled me - it's bloomin' rotten!! and other people have double glazing already, and its a second floor flat so who's going to see it anway. they'll soon know when my windows fall on someone's head coz they're so rotten....

rant temporarily over - thank you

The amount of minis you have it will take more than a few years to get round to it.

perhaps you could keep the tree in it -might be an interesting design feature? and you could hang your washing on it so it dries while you're driving!  If i see a tree going at sixty with mcfly tshirts hanging off it i will know it's you!
