now that winter is nearly here and there are less events etc there must be some projects going on. being a naturally nosy person i was just wondering what the nutcases have planned for their cars over the next few months? mabel has had her new (second hand) interior fitted yesterday ,mini 30 black half leather with red trim. (anyone want to buy a grey velour mayfair interior vgc pm me?!) and is as we speak in motatec having some 6x9,s and an amp fitted. now i am skint and can't even afford jaffa cakes but i don't care!!
1. Fit new A Panels and arches. 2. Get the car Painted (rosso red) and refubish my mercury alloys 3. Fit a new wiring loam (that will be fun!!) 4. Put the rest of the car together. 5. Drive it!! (the best bit)
P.s. any body think of a good name for my mini??
and im aiming for all under £1,000!!

my mini is being serviced ready for use, as i tuck my motorbike up for the winter (i'm such a fair weather biker these days) and get ready to bring mini to live with me and let the bike stay with the old bird!
i'm getting the windscreen seal replaced by my man wot does in the hopes that the rain will stay on the outside - (if i can just get that to happen in my flat as well i'll be laughing! )
it has got this very classy sounding rattle, which we thought was the wheel arch - turns out it's not and we haven't got the foggiest what it is now! c'est la vie!

See thats what you get for boasting about the only problem you have is the pop rivet comeing out of the wheel arch when the rest of us were moaring about the work we have to do to our minis. Are you sure you have not left the biscuit tin in the back pocket.

well dad has a long list of stuff to do, 1.have to piece together the mini morris, 2.have to get the cooper running right, 3.finish off my little girlracer mini, and then i am going to attempt to respray it myself! 4.have to remove the tree thats growing through the middle of our clubman convertable and a secret plan that might happen next year between dad and another nutcase, but i will not mention any names!

the windscreen is now sealed, and looking very classy, and the rattle is fixed. when old bird asked what it was they couldn't remember, so i'm guessing it can't have been very serious. maybe they'll mention it on the bill when i get it!
now to get the bike serviced and tucked up for the winter....

well it hasn't rained too much lately, but i'm sure it will leak like a good un. having a battle with the council (sounds familiar) to get double glazing put in which they reckon is 'detrimental to the character of the street scene'. it's not like my building is even a listed one - it's just in a conservation area - could have fooled me - it's bloomin' rotten!! and other people have double glazing already, and its a second floor flat so who's going to see it anway. they'll soon know when my windows fall on someone's head coz they're so rotten....
rant temporarily over - thank you (p3_84) (p3_84) (p3_84) (p3_84) (p3_84)

my clubman is a tad bit rusty so a tree has prob just pushed its way through the floor, cause we havent even been to see it in about 7 months, we keep it hidden away from mother
The amount of minis you have it will take more than a few years to get round to it.

i didnt know we owned it for about 3 months, dad bought it when i told him not too, just give us a couple of years and it might get on the road!
perhaps you could keep the tree in it -might be an interesting design feature? and you could hang your washing on it so it dries while you're driving! If i see a tree going at sixty with mcfly tshirts hanging off it i will know it's you!
