I agree, the cops aren't interested when your car is stolen, especially when it is a Mini. When my was stolen they tried to make a joke of it and asked me where I had hidden it. Can you believe that. I was in tears, so Terry had to deal with rest. |

Aw gov thats just plain cruel!!! We have a newly trained cop in our mini club and from what he was saying they rarely take any car theft seriously unless its used in a smash and grab!!!! They havent even asked for engine number or chassis number!!! We keep all the owners docs because he isnt very organised and no-one has called to ask us for details. Makes you think that unless you have owned a car that means a lot to you and isnt just a machine, you dont understand how distressing it can be. Plus as he is so ickle ots not like he can just go out and buy another....still no news  |

Got some good news tonight, the stolen mini has been found!!!!
Not sure how safe and well, know that the front bucket seats have been nicked and the rear screen missing, obviously because we have it. Found in Bedford where it prolly ran out of petrol. Been towed to a local garage. We are chuffed, just got to wait for the police to release it. |

Yep they are charging about £110 I think. The exterior is like nothing has happened but the interior is now minus door furniture, rev counter, cobra buckets, stereo and speakers. Some one must have been watching because the seats had been in 2 weeks and the speakers not even 1 day!!!!
They have knacked the gear box though, we think. It had a very hard gear change so anyone not used to it and trying to make a get away would have struggled, so we think they have broken that, plus the ignition obviously.
The onwer is pleased and wants to make it bigger and better than before. And well alarmed this time!!!
