I thought I'd add this bit so that anyone having trouble joining the forum might be able to find some answers.

The forum requires that you validate your e-mail, and as such sends you an e-mail to respond to. HOWEVER... some people haven't received these e-mails thanks to the ever vigilant spam filters.

Quoted Text
Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL etc are known as freemail, these treat all email sent by sendmail (which is what this forum uses by default) as Spam... All members who use these type of accounts and want to receive email from the forum must set the email as "This is not junkmail"

Hotmail, gmail and the likes (freemail) will actually block mail sent using sendmail before it even gets the members mailbox so it won't appear in their junk folder.

All emails from the forum are sent from the smallcarsbighearts.co.uk domain, so update your filters to allow it if you want it!!

That is the first problem. I'll add others as i think of them.

If you e-mail me, from the account you signed up with, i'll validate you manually.
e-mail me now!
