Its a sad day for me ----- Dizzy failed her MOT

Emissions and a ball joint thingy!

I had a new exhaust fitted on Thursday and I bought her a new wiper blade, and even had a bit of welding done.

Know the feeling - I think they fail them delibrately so that they get the money again when you take it back for a retest / or them fixing them. Some of the failures we had last year were incorrect as we were told the bottom ball joint had failed and it only needed greasing !!

Last week George failed took him for a retest and told the brakes were now a bit uneven - same brakes same car 7 days later and only driven to local garage for CV boot and steering rack gaitor to be fixed.

mine didnt fail on much, in fact i fixed that, went to take it back for its retest and the brake master cylinder went so i had no brakes, not good especially when i had to drive back through the town centre to get home. its been sat on my drive since the end of november now. cant afford to do anything to it until mid february, serves it right really!

I think I'll book into your uncles garage next time. I paid £40 for my MOT.

It was a sad day for us yesterday as we went to look at our old estate for sale and it was in bad condition

CHEDDAR!
i hate mot time, because i know that i then have to find time to start nagging at dad to get it ready.(_argue)
i took my black mini 2 the local garage a couple of months ago and i sat there for three hours! the mot only took an hour but he had to spend two hours wrighting up the list of all the things that was wrong with it! i think he was quite puzzled how i actually got to the garage with no brakes!
