Rita saw it but I was at work.

I'm sure that it'll be repeated at some point on one of the satellite channels.

Andrew, do thank Rita for the phone call this morning.  Managed to get the last 20 minutes on tape.  Did she know that it was on or did she just stumble across it?  Bazzer phoned Terry this afternoon and even he didn't know anything about it. On another note, how is Heidi?

Heidi's okay, but struggling a bit with the cold, and she seeems to be allergic to BMW screenwash. Our journey back from Devon after Christmas was a bit of a nightmare.

Rita saw the first in the series yesterday and was at home today trying to keep Heidi warm while our double glazing was being replaced, and had the TV on with subtitles in the background. She saw the name Marc Stretton on the screen, and thought "I know a Marc Stretton", looked closer and realised that it's the one she knows.

She doesn't think you missed much of the piece about Marc.

Hello all.

Well spotted Rita! Yep that was me... not satisfied with embarrasing pictures of me in a dress in magazines I went and let the BBC follow me around for six weeks while I tried to turn from a slob into Mr Health and Fitness. To be fair it was good fun and I seem to have entertained a lot of my mates up here, many of who haven't stopped laughing yet.
It wasn't all bad though and at least I've lost a bit of weight, but more importantly packed in smoking because of it... so hopefully LeJog this year will be a smoke free zone! BTW Terry what are the actual dates this year... I can't count to 142 to work out the starting day!

it's not just your mates up there that have not stopped laughing yet. We had to re-check our Lejog pictures to see if it was really you who did it. Lejog dates are 26th June to the 1st July but on the Sunday the 26th we are all going to the Children's Hospice for a photo shot with some of the Children, We think this year we are going to take about 20 cars, should be fun getting breakfast, will you be having a muesli instead of the full english. It is nice to know that you have kicked the weed.
linda said I have to put my name to this reply.

What time of day are you going? We'll be travelling down to Devon during the day.

Rita wasn't laughing, and was fascinated by the programme and she has watched it each day since.

She's off work with a bad leg - can hardly walk, can't drive, and definitely can't use dual controls. (And as those of you are self employed will know she isn't getting paid.)

She says maybe she needs to go on the programme and lose some weight, but she can't stop smoking as she's never smoked...........

Sorry to hear about Rita's leg I hope it gets better soon. Not kicking you out of bed at the time was she.
