ive put new pads and shoes on the van, got fast road/trackday pads on the front and normal ones on the back, however it doesnt want to stop like it used to, feels a bit dead until you stamp on it and then you slide off the road.

ive bled the brakes up, any other suggestions?

What are the disks like?? Cos my dad had a similar problem on his Audi and it was caused by groves in the disks.

It could be that one of the calliper pistons is seized, then only one side is braking so it pull the car in one direction??

Or possible the tracking is out??

Apart from that I cant think of anything else.

Well the cheaper option would be the repair job, all you would need is new pistions and seals, about £10.

But the 4pots would be nice.
