Suddenly all the posts became unread and then when I tried posting a message it all broke.

Party ring - Is there anything anyone else can do to help with backups while you are away Lejogging? Just in case it all breaks again to minimise loss of posts.

i've got a backup program in place that I can do each day on my phone. it backups up to my gmail account. i just won't be able to restore anything until i get to my aunt and uncle's house, or if we come across a convenient computer....

I'll have my Pocket PC with me if that'll be of any help?

Backups by mobile phone - you never cease to amaze me! Let's keep our fingers crossed that it all holds together while you're away.

OK, no probs if we find some wifi, but it will take a bit of time from my mobile

Cost to upload it isn't an issue - Orange only charge me for downloads, but uploads are free!

That'll be alright then - does it have to be ftp or can you use ssh/scp?

(think I'm going to have to add a "nerd warning" signature!)
