hehe just saw charlie was last to post on this page and had a little chuckle to myself as i had a feeling what it would be about  . In all fairness she did fix the electrics in 20 minutes that kev couldnt do in 2 hours |

I want some advice on CB's I want one I can take out I have a cigerette lighter socket in the car and I want a gutter mount arial where can I get one and how much are there any makes to avoid?

you can get a cb radio that has all the buttons on the mic, and a tiny little box under the dash that it all connects to. i think cobra did one like that, if you're worried about space and security as once you unplug the mic you can't see anything. |

looks good, but it wont have as much range as one with an ariel on the outside, and it prob eats batteries!
You can connect to an external aerial and plug into lighter socket when in the car apparently and I could take in the van |

they dont take long to fit, the one in my cooper is screwed under the dash using some holes already there, so no drilling. i have a gutter mount on it but i will take that off as i keep catching my head on it getting out of the car in a car park |
