prob a very daft question but does anyone know if it's possible to fit a different engine/gearbox (automatic- possibly jap?) into an automatic mini ? Looking at all options of still owning an old mini - thought with a more reliable engine it could be my only car instead of running 2( which is why I was looking at a bmw mini)

it wouldnt be a problem. only thing is finding a modern engine and auto box thats small enough, something like a toyota yaris auto would probably fit with some butchering.

select concorde 2 brighton then like 'heartbreaker' thats your only task for the day....do that then do whatever you want, easy!
