I have been thinking about this for some time as Dartington crystal is a family event I was thinking maybe we could have a dog show. I have only been brave enough to put this forward since I found out that Launceston is having a dog show so what about us. Mini world always have a special picture of a dog.
We could have prizes for
The dog that looks most like his or he Master.
lots more as long as they are fun.

Just need someone to take this bit of the event over. Anyone interested.

I could help on this. I've organised a few for John lewis in the past. I would need a few props if we were to have a little arena but I'd happily take this on.

Fun classes would include:
Best puppy under 1 year
Best veteran over 10 years
Most lookalike to owner
Waggiest tail
Most appealing eyes
Best trick

I'll cover cost of prizes and rosettes and if only a  few enter it's the fun that counts!

And best dressed up. So that gives us 10 fun classes. If we feel that's too many we could drop the 1st 2 classes. best puppy and veteran as they are quite restricting.

As to the cake stand fantastic idea, we can get some of the best cake cooks in North Devon to complement your mums cakes. Hope that sounded OK but the only rule is they must be tasted by me first.

This is a good idea too. For those of us going to slimming world, we may have to give you a wide berth but not as wide as we used to hopefully.

Dog biscuits are less fattening and can look quite tempting if you have no other biscuits in the house. I threw Domino's chocolate drops away just in case......

I've written to a rosette company in Truro to ask if they will donate some .

They did not even reply. The new hospice is being built in St. Austell and I was hoping they would donate some rosettes.

I've got the rosettes coming from Aberdeen. Been to Pets At Home today and 36 bags of doggy treats are ready for the winners.

All we need is some entrants. If not, Domino will be putting some weight on!
