Has any one been to see Warhorse in Drury Lane London or know of anyone who has/

I saw the puppet horses on Paul O'Grady and it was fascinating. It is the story of a young lad whose horse is conscripted in the 1st World War and he  goes and tries to find him. I know it is sad and emotive but I want to know if it has a happy ending.

It's only on until September so I'll have to make my mind up soon.

I read the book today and bought tickets for my birthday in July to see the show which has been extended. Some friends of ours have been to see it and said it was spectacular.

I now know it has a happy ending but sad and emotive through the story. Is it a myth that if you cry on your birthday you don't grow any more? Give it a go.

Nor had I before I saw it on Paul O'Grady. The book I read today written by a children's poet laureate is the first I have read since I left school. How bad is that? I bought Paul's autobiography but could not get past chapter 4.

I won't ask Michelle to pass on the books that I'm reading at the moment then there are about 5 or 6 (can't remember exactly) in the series and they are all very thick - we are absolutely hooked on them, trouble is I am reading the last one in the series now and it will be ages before she the next one      Oh well I suppose I will have to find something else when I finish it

Hi Rita. Yes, the organiser of the Clubman Estate Register has seen it, and we're planning a club trip to see it. She thinks it's fab - but then she would, as her sister (Ruth Rogers) is an actress in it! Hope you enjoy it.
