What a day! I've just got back from the hospital after Neve had an accident. She was trying to do a handstand on her cousin's trampoline and managed to both break and dislocate her little finger!! They couldn't manipulate it back in so tried to sedate her but she wasn't having any of it and managed to kick the doctor in the stomach. So they had to admit her and send her to theatre and luckily got it back in! She now has her arm in plaster and has to spend the night in hospital, so Lou is staying the night with her!!

We forget the agility we had as kids but it can go wrong. Could have been a lot worse............ At least Neve it did not happen half term week so more time off school. I bet your mum's impressed with you.

So what else can you not do and still do. You cannot tie your shoe laces but you can still pick your nose and scratch your bum but that may depend on which side itches. You cannot ride your bike but you can still use a computer. ANYMORE

Neve is feeling a lot better but very nervous about anyone going near her bad hand. I think another day off school tomorrow just to keep the painkillers topped up.
She is very proud of her bandage and sling though.
Two other people in my school have hurt their self in the holidays on trampolines it must be a faulty batch.No wonder argos were selling them on special offer!Have discovered I can use my thumb on my injured hand,so am back to using two hands on the keyboard again.Whoopee.Thanks for all your kind messages.
It still hurts quite a bit now. I have a hard plaster underneath my arm and a soft bandage on the top, and my arm has to be kept in a sling.
I have to go back in a weeks time to have an xray to make sure it hasn't moved out of place.
When I went back for the doctor to check on the progress of my foot after the first week, they took the hard half plaster off and gave me a choice of colours for the replacement full plaster, there were loads of colours including glitter and flourestant pink, what colour would you choose? hope all goes well
