This year was without doubt the best we have ever had in 11 years. There was not one domestic, so that makes a change and the lead car was once again fantastic and we didn't have one breakdown but it was a shame we lost John on the Thursday because of work commitments The weather was the best we ever had but most important the people who took part in this years event are already considered as friends and we hope to see them all on this years LGT. This is what our Lejog is all about having fun, making friends and raising funds for the CHSW. NO MORE NO LESS, So to everyone who took part in this years Lejog thank you for making it such a good event and that goes for the the students as well. See you all in August.

WELCOME HOME!!!!! sounds like you had a wicked time!!!!!
i bet the hippy outfits went down a storm on your travels defo made an extra touch to the event!! Not that you can be missed out anyways!! Good to hear no barnys occured and i hope the food order was fine too I did think of you all today doing the journey back home today as that was a long day last year! I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again very soon
Brill trip, met up with some new friends, had a great time couldn't wish for anything more. Got back home at 4pm yesterday only 10 hours after setting off from Inverness. Pretty uneventful journey back - but still getting lots of smiles from other car drivers. I want to do it again if you'll have me.
Had a fantastic time! was one of the best things i've done, Us students made it back in about 14 hours, got caught in the bad rain round london but other than that was a great journey home!,
So many people still looking at the car especially on the M'way!

was definitely the best one yet - we didn't have any problems, we didn't get lost, and i only had to yell "which way now?!" once to OB and we didn't even have a domestic. i got to boot it up the hill and leave everyone behind, and i managed to shake off the tailgating van on a hairpin briefly - even with the trailer. what more could you want? everyone got on really well, and it was great to meet the 'newbies' who were all certifiable. and the sun shone and people went paddling and it was just like being on holiday!!
mini jock will be going to see Gus tomorrow who reckons he can sort out 'ma wee mini doo' for me, so that's good too, and i just spent a fortune on some new bike gear - and now i have been summoned for dinner which smells great so ttfn!!

And would you believe it, I've finished the blog posts for Friday and Saturday - catch them on the blog (link in signature), or on the "LEJOG Updates!" thread.
We got home at around 1.30pm. Journey back was fine but we did did feel sorry for the rest of you when we pulled off the M6 just after Charnock Richards services, knowing how much further you had to travel. Anyway we would both like to say a big thankyou to everybody for making this week really enjoyable. We had a brilliant time and we will definately be taking part again. We met some really nice people and we look forward to meeting you all again soon. If you'll have us. Ha Ha.
I think that Party ring forgot to mention that with all the working out in the gym she managed to rip the handbrake out of the floor of the lead car. Sorry had to leave early but still had a great time.

you were missed john!! - and as siddarz said elsewhere, the new toilet stop on the way back from jog was amazing. i've never seen such posh public loos - i could smell lavender as i walked in. John's temporary fix of my handbrake lasted until Gus repaired it for me yesterday. He informed me that handbrake turns should now not be a problem.... but wasn't too sure how well they would work with a mini in tow.... He refused to accept payment, so the money went in the pot, and more than the £5 he reckoned he would have asked for. It's a shame he isn't closer to where we live! Mini Jock is still residing with Gus and Lil, as their abode is a favourite watering hole of my uncle's, they seem to have an open house policy and anyone and everyone turns up to have a chat and a drink.... maybe i'll successfully collect mini jock today before we head off to lossie for lunch! just have to decide whether to go in the lexus or the lexus.... yes my uncle has 2! a 2 litre toy to fling round and that doesn't roll on the bends so you don't have to hang on for dear life, and the 4 litre one for cruising....
