Whilst on our 3 week holiday I put 3lb on (Andrew lost 3lb). Last week I lost those 3lbs and this week I lost 4lbs.

I've come away with
Club target award (lost 10% bodyweight)
One and a half stone loss award
Slimmer of the week award(a basket of goodies) and I won the raffle-a box of Scoobydoo freezer pops!

I think I was more determined after getting my cholesterol results and heart tracing.
And that was being at Andrew's mum's birthday party where there was trifle and birthday cake.

11 stone is a dream for me. That's a big % weight loss. Well done!

My knees restrict my physical exercise but they are getting better all the time. I can walk nearly a mile each evening with a 10 minute rest at a bus stop waiting for Andrew to get off the train. Domino gets 2 good walks a day plus playtime in the garden.

Thanks Rita- that has taken 2 months, but i suppose a pound a week is about right? I really have no idea. Wouldnt recommend Wii active to anyone with knee probs-mine make enough creaking sounds during lunges and they are fine (apart from being very old-thought i'd get that in just in case RHM is lurking)  Rosie gets her walk down to the river most days(I walk-she runs off the lead but I'm usually more knackered than her when we get back!)  My job is quite hectic, mainly picking internet orders so am on my feet lugging around big tubs of paint when I'm there.  Food is my prob though, could quite happily consume a packet of shortbread in 10 minutes!
Is it Slimming world or Weight Watchers that you go to?

Slimming World, suggested by O-B. Her daughter has lost 5 stone that I know and I dream of losing that amount of weight and would then be quite happy to stay on my new eating regime. A pound a week off is realistic and what I often achieve.

Lisa is over the 7 and half stone mark now, i believe. People keep saying she must need to stop now - but i think our family have very heavy bones because we can all still afford to lose more! I'm on an enforced low fat diet and am making the most of heinz spaghetti hoops, which are low fat, low sugar AND i of your 5 a day!! WINNER!!

Anyone who loses weight through willpower, helped by a slimming club or not, has my admiration.
The only time I've ever lost weight was due to illness - as testified to by my girth! However, I've never felt the need to, despite being told I was in the "obese" category at all of my work medicals (BMI was 32). I responded that I was just a foot too short, and that there was as much chance of me gaining a foot in height as there was me getting down to under 10 stone - which is the recommended weight for a 5ft. 6in. man (I was never that light even when at school, when I played football for the school on a Saturday am, rugby for Portsmouth Rugby Club on Saturday pm, and trained three times per week. So I simply don't believe the doctor's charts.)
Keep it up though ladies, if it's what you want, "all power to your elbow!"
