theyre suprisingly quick for something that looks like that. the IQ is like driving a shorty mini, only more comfy, and with a roof. the new one i got is a 1.33 auto, and its got satnav which is even better.

Its definately a Marmite car, everyone I have shown the photo too eiher loves it or hates it, guess you are in the second group lol!! I won't take it personally though unlike the comment from my sister..showed her the photo and she said it was horrible, she saw me driving it on the test drive and said it suited me...hmmmmmmm thanks sis!! Of course you can have a ride in it, I am off work for a couple of days after LGT so will have to come out and see you if I dont get out on the Saturday (which I probably will)

Charlies answered the IQ bit but for the other questions-the Micra is going in exchange for the Figaro and as for Rosie, shes going in exchange...no not really. There is plenty of room for her on the back seat which is how she travels in the Micra, I've got a waterproof seat cover (don't think cream leather and muddy dog would mix otherwise!)
Wont have the top down when shes in the car, she'd probably get out at the traffic lights everytime i stopped!

I like the retro looks   Not keen on the auto box, think they all come with autos, but still looks like a fun car to drive.

I thought the IQ looked good in photos untill I saw one on the road & God!!! It's UGLY!!!! At least a Smart car has cheeky looks

I often go on a new mini forum and they just ran a series of photos of what they considered to be the ugliest car. For me it has to be the multiplas. We used to cover Heidi's eyes when one drove towards us.

It's the one that looks like it's already been in an accindent before it left the factory.

The Fiat 500 is really growing on me   Could I change the MINI for a 500?????
There's a jazzed up Cruiser in my town, loads of chrome &  a huge "Just Cruising" sticker in the back window. The hearse bit is spot on

I have a 500 on my wants list white and chrome BUT BSM have just changed to them instead of corsas as tuition cars so in 9 months time there will be a lot of second hand ones around. Strangely it put me off the idea a bit. I see teaching cars as being restricted in life a bit like guide dog labradors. But then I remember I teach in a MINI. I need to be let loose in Andrew's MINI more often.

I drove it after it had the works conversion but too fast for me. It catapults. I last drove it along the prom at Blackpool illuminations 2 years ago. I'm used to diesel.
