hi Terry had this meesage from Lou

"Just out of interest I phoned Cedars, maybe a bit close to you, they could close the orangery exclusively for us, so we could do prize givings or whatever but we could still join in with the disco with other people if we fancied it. 3 course meal £19.95. Double room including breakfast £50.00.

Forgot about after Chrismas bit stupidly. All Saturdays available at the moment in December if we change our plans again.

Just thought I would pass your way because you will know what their reputation is like.

Bye for now
Lou x[/quote]"

the good point for doing it later is the prices aren't usually christmas inflated and booking is easier. but then you don't get crackers...

Ignore this option as I had a thought and phoned back, no children are allowed on the evening Christmas nights........although I might want an evening away from Neve we are a family club so this won't work

I can ask but there will not be a disco that is only for party evenings.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Andrew said the golf club at Westward Ho! 140 people and we know the caterer who has a good reputation........just another option
