Well what a day another day we will all remember for a long time.. We ended up with four minis and three of them were from the CHSW mini club. We got there early and helped with the gazbos, then we just did what ever which was not very much. There were a lot of people there and many families from the hospice and everyone just enjoyed themselves. The sun was shining there was live music and the burgers were free and cooked by a celebrity chef. Then to top it all we all got a ride in an airplane, up over Exeter along the coast and back again.. The airplanes about 6 of them, took up over 100 people between them and everyone had a chance to go up.
What a day, we made even more friends and met many of the families that use the hospice and it did not cost us a penny, so thank you John and the Hunter flying club for the invitations, it was a fantastic day out.

The event was organised by a gentleman called Stuart Goodrich and i was asked to assist and provide certain items and help for the day as this was a first for him. After the event Stuart and his business partner john asked me to pass on many thanks to all of you for attending and helping. He was over the moon with the success of the day and all the pilots and people involved in the day have remarked on how happy everyone was and the kind remarks that was passed onto them. All the pilots and airport personnel did everything for free yesterday and all of them have asked for this to happen again next year. I think that the greatest statement of the day was from the pilots themselves when they were up in the air and looked round at the passengers wether they had been carried into the aircraft or were parents and children and saw massive smiles on all their faces. I think that just the fact that this was a day for people to enjoy and do something special made the day special in its self. Thanks everyone.
