Hi Everyone,

Quick quandry, I'm going to look at a Mini this weekend, one for a project for team jellybean, Hopefully to be up and running for next years Lejog,

It's a 1983 Mayfair which i've been told needs 'a bit of work' doing to it.

Just wondered if there was anything in particular to look out for on these minis, electrics problems, rust etc... anything other than the usual!,  Just so i've got a bit of heads up before I go to see it!,

Let me know if you can think of anything!

Cheers

Rich aka Steve!

The main problem's rust. Generally speaking it's cheaper & easier to sort out mechanical/electrical problems than it is to replace panels. Unless ofcourse you're handy with a welder

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a

well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,

totally worn out, shouting,  ' Holy s*!t... What a Ride!! '
