Does it matter what type of condition the car is in, as long as it has an MOT

How many classic motors are going to be swallowed by the scrappage joke?

not as many as people make out. some of the cars that are worth something that have been scrapped is all down to the ignorance of the owner. they've saved 3 cars from being scrapped at work, although the scrapped cars don't get crushed straight away, so even if it was scrapped it would have benefitted several owners after bits and pieces.

I know of a Clubby Estate at a scrappy in Aldershot, that was traded-in as part of this horrible scheme. The yard is selling everything, except the engine & body - which they MUST crush. I understand it wouldn't be a major project.
I've signed the petition too.   >

There's an article in todays Sunday Mirror stating that 9 out of every 10 cars sold under the scrappage scheme has been built abroad

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a

well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,

totally worn out, shouting,  ' Holy s*!t... What a Ride!! '
