We need a couple of members who did the Barnstaple carnival to go along and pick up a cheque for the CHSW anyone fancy going.
How many pennies did we collect?

Not sure but I think Lou knows. We gave the cheque to Rosie to hand in.

That's pretty amazing when the average coins were pennies. We were thinking about doing a collection on New years day parade but Londoners are not as generous as the folk in North Devon. I'd get more yen than pennies.

As Rita says, a lot of pennies.

It certainly felt like that as we were carrying the buckets around.

Please do not forget that £90 was only a percentage of what we raised. The carnival committee kept some of it back to help towards putting on next years carnival.
