I fitted mine out with an 80Ah leisure battery, powering a 600W inverter and 2x 12v sockets. I fitted caravan electrics to Dennis to charge it on the road.
The inner front is panelled off with hardboard and carpeted with cheap black cord carpet. The rest of the trailer is also carpeted with the same stuff.
I have some plans to cut out the floor and sink in some extra space, but that's another project... |

The panel is still in where the seats used to be so there is a secure lockable storage area, then the rest is just as is in the car, pockets and all. It was boxed off with welded on sheet metal and topped off with a vinyl covered wooden top.
As mine was built with new panels (new boot floor, new rear quarter panels, the only recycled bit was the exhaust tunnel) I left out the back of the seat, and cut back the seat base. There is steel welded on where the parcel shelf would have been, and a metal plate on a frame makes the lid which locks from inside. The frame is welded to Seat Alhambra bonnet hinges, so it moves to the back as it lifts up. This is important for me as I kept the original lines at the bottom of where the back windows would go, so the front of the trailer is higher than the back. |

I intended to use new panels, but I was fortuneate enough to great a rear end that was rust free on the rear panels and only rotten in the boot floor, all of which was due to come out so I could modify it into a box the depth of the original battery box but the whole width between the sub frame.. |
