Hopefully I should be in the house for Christmas won't be quite finished one room will need decorating Kitchen Doors won't be on thats the trouble with having things made Oh well we'll have a usedable kitchen and furniture. Just fdon't ask about the garage and garden lol

it has been very quiet of late. In fact it's been quiet all year - since march we have had less posts than the same month last year.
Good to hear your house is nearly ready - and surely once you've moved in things'll get done quicker? But then again maybe not - i've been in my flat 7 years now and i still haven't decorated, and i can't use my windows as an excuse any more since i have lovely new ones that keep the weather on the outside - it's amazing!!

Things seem to take 1 step forward and 2 back with the house at the moment the beds werree due to be delivered on Saturday from a well known store when I rang to chase them they told me that it had been cancelled (noone told me) as they were out of stock (they had been ringing me for over 2 weeks asking if they could deliver them!!! > > > > >
Went into local store who eventually said they had 2 insotck in on display one other which we could have ( these had been reduced so we have some money to come back had to pick beds up (they were meant to be delivering them and setting them up > one bed has bits missing so still only have one bed going to ring head office today and moan not happy at all won't be using them again > >

When we got the keys to the house back in April 2008 we planned to be in for Christmas 2008 but it was a bigger job then we planned we have completly referbed the house inside and out all we need to do now is finish a few rooms off (but it's not going to stop us moving in) and the back garden needs doing but can not do that until we've built the new garage for the Mini's

Why should that stop you I don't have a kitchen door and I've lived in my house for over 5 years now, the door is out in the shed but I'm not planning on hanging I like just having the opening straight in to the lounge
Our house is a bit crooked. The experts call it settlement but our lounge door and kitchen door were hard to fit properly so we took them off 20 years ago. Don't miss them.
We kept the door to the downstairs loo for our guests privacy.

good luck with that!! Went back to the gym on monday - new release of pump and combat, and they've obviously decided to kill everyone for the new year. was in agony. so went again on tuesday to stop me seizing up, zumba'd and hiked about in the snow last night, and combat and jam this evening, assuming they don't cancel!! Kill or cure I say!!
