Snowed hard in Hemel last night, must be 8-9" deep. Sod going to work today, especially after writing off my car the last time I tried to go to work in the snow It's supposed to be the boys last day of school but I can't see it being open, so it looks like its going to be Playtime!

Yep, enjoy it. A covering of snow here but not enough to disrupt trains so Andrew is now at work. I only had a 2 hour lesson planned on nursery roads so they are frozen so I'm not working either.
quite a bit of snow here, both girls are home , they only had half day any way. poor Kev is stuck in his lorry in hailsham east sussex, the builders yard wont unload him, it was only a dusting when he set off at 4am, now its much deeper and icey, stll he has a load of road salt, all he needs now is a shovel

Office is quiet this morning. Lots of people "working from home" because they "can't get in".
There was only an inch or so on my route to work this morning, I was hoping for much more. It took me longer to get the door lock de-iced than it did to drive to work.
Still plenty of incompetence on the roads though. Why do so many people seem determined to sit in 1st gear with their foot to the floor - or to use the ungritted outside lane of a two-lane dual carriageway at dry road speeds?
Quite alot here, school is closed heard the kids nextdoor cheering when it was announced on the radio, Neil is working from home but I've got to go in later , don't know if we'll still be going to Stoneleigh tomorrow

If you're taking real mini my concern is the damage the salt does. We gave ourselves problems taking red red whine on salted roads on Donut run and not realising the damage done until we began to get him ready for Brighton. The weather forecast looks to be better for the south east tomorrow. We expected today to be worse than it was.
