Cavalier King Charles - Zoe, age 8. Despite being insured, costing me a fortune in vets bills! Wish they'd published the facts about the health issues of this breed about two years before they did!!

We had a Cavalier, Pebbles. Breathing problems, Hip joint concerns, hard to exercise and I let her get overweight..... But kept going until 11.

Ours has ear problems and a heart condition. 5 tablets & drops every day, vet visits monthly. Vet looks in her mouth and takes a gulp of breath, cos it's grey, not pink. Then she checks her heart & raises her eyebrows. Finally she says that Zoe's obviously happy and alert, but one day (probably soon) she'll collapse, and that will be that.

Something to look forward to, NOT! But we'd rather know.

No pets now as we have moved out of Mom and Dad's    But we did have 1 Dog Rory the Border Collie and 30/40 Koi Carp and 3 Doves.

one aging cat Tatum, beautiful but demanding, sleeps a lot. two tanks of tropical fish including, 1 big angel, 2 big guarmi, 1 large bristle nosed catfish, numerous guppies and platies of various sizes and 6 baby platies. Fish n chips anyone? Mum and I had cockatiels, noisy boogers!!


My other vehicle is an 18T DAF MAN curtainsider!!
