How about an Easter Run? Easter falls on Good Friday 2nd april sat 3rd, sun 4th, mon5th. We have booked the Travelodge anyway but thought perhaps others would like a purpose to have a few days away. We would be happy to help plan but a couple of you down Devon are expert planners. Bearing in mind the weather could be unpredictable, maybe head for somewhere more promising like Bude?

Is anyone keen enough to suggest start points etc? Saturday or sunday would be good. We would do all we could remotely to help but I think there could be good interest. We all need something to look forward to.

Who else fancies a run?

For Easter week, we're planning on another of our not-so-legendary grand tours where Mrs Siddarz stops with a friend in London and I explore the mysterious world of the south.

They've already made plans for the weekend so I wouldn't be able to make it to Devon until the Monday, so I'd probably just miss this one.

Do the roads of North Devon get as clogged up on Easter Weekend as they do at the end of August?

No, as it would be a new MINI and not a classic.

We have kept Sily Mini as a Classic only event up to and including the 50th birthday. We even invited Solid Gold Mike to appear as a special feature last year, to compare what you got when you bought a very early Mini and what you got when you bought a new MINI, which he did.
2010 and subsequent years are to be both Classic and new.
My personal view is that MINI should be accepted and as most of our spare time down here in Exeter is spent plotting and using our two cars to raise funds for CHSW, our event should welcome MINI owners who are prepared to spend all or some of their Easter weekend gathering more dosh for our collective cause.

Rita, Andrew and Domino, you're more than welcome to join in with us all as is any MINI owner who wants to help CHSW.

Vince.
