Does anyone know if a mk3 subframe with dry suspension from a A reg mini 1980's would fit a riley elf 1969 the backend is a bit shot but i have a complete subframe that could fit to replace the hydro suspension and would save a great deal of money the elf has been stood for over 7 yrs outside its going to need a lot to put back on the road.
can they just be swapped or is there any major mods that need doing
thanks

Front or rear?
Rear is intercompatible afaik obviously you need the full 'dry' setup.
Front is more difficult as they are earlier solid mounted frames. I think you would need a early two bold subby to convert - however it may be possible to switch out the hydro units for cones and upper arms from a dry frame.

I think you need to fit shock absorbers/damper's too as hydro didnt have them??
