A quiet weekend then

I would love one of those, where everything goes right... ended up clearing the local motor factors out of rear wheel cylinders last weekend

I'd just settle for a weekend when anything went right!

Well, how did everyone's weekend go? Was silly mini sunday good? We had a good time in Devon. Weather was a bit showery saturday and was kind other than that. I won on bingo at Westward Ho! and got a mini money box and it was orange. I gave it to the lad where we stay to remind him of Grand Tour.

We met up with friends and had a good time. Without stops we can do it in 4 hours.

Some of us are still out there, including those of us who were due to spend another night in the chalet but found out at 5 this afternoon that it was only booked until 10 this morning...

Handily though, the campsite I was booked into from tomorrow had space tonite, so my tent is now pitched on a wet and windy clifftop somewhere between Clovelly and Bideford...

But that should not detract from the fantastic job done by all those who worked on SMS - the chalet thing was no-ones fault, and the rest of the time was brill 8-)

I dunno, geography is not my good point !
THANK YOU everyone from NDMR, for attending or just wishing us a good time.

We did all have a great time, Terry (in pink bunny easter boppers) lead our auction
at Hazelwood clubhouse and again did it really well.
At least we stayed dry while we were out doing Silly Mini Sunday, just a shame
we got soaked when we returned to find our chalet water tank had burst  !!
Nice shiny new shower / bathroom....... bit more work on the plumbing needed maybe ?? LOL LOL...
Nothing dampened our spirits though and we still carried on with the fun and raffle etc later on.

A count up will happen soon, we did 1 but it was late, so we shall wait till we have another event person in attendance
when we do a final count up. But it should be around the 2K mark. Thanks to everyone involved.

A full report shall be posted up on the website shortly ......

Aw, shucks... You'll have me blushing next

To anyone here who hasn't done SMS before, get it on your calendar; it's going to be an annual event for me even with the distance...
