After this run the mascot which was a pillion passenger on the lead bike was auctioned for CHSW. He was a big sitting dog wearing a mini shirt, flip flops, sunglasses and a hat and a head hankie. He was called Max.

He has sat in our garage for those years but today he and I have parted. I've taken him to a new animal charity shop at the top of the road and they are selling raffle tickets to guess his name. I gave them a bottle of wine as a prize and then they will sell him. Large toys like that are often strapped to the front of dustcarts, I'll be horrified if I see him on one.

We're having a tidy and a de-clutter. Surprising what we sit on "just in case"

On the subject of mascots i heard on the grapevine that Jay had sold his bike so we could be without a lead bike this year.

What about the other biker who got an award? He could do it. Or Michelle? We could leave a trail of peas for her to follow.

It's true, Jay has sold his bike (yes, it was a BMW) and I believe he's away over the August bank holiday.

i think we should thank him for all his efforts for us in the past and the trouble he took with his fancy dress he always stood out .----dressing up in leathers and a furry costume on an August day cant have been much fun

and trying to loose his passenger when she dressed as a Bee may not have been one of his best days !!!!!!!!!!i cant think why he kept the Bike so long

sometimes my mind not only wanders it goes off on its own

My vote is for Michelle. Her mum is good at dressmaking and she could go as a giant pea!
