... and confirmed to me that you really are nutcases in all senses of the word!
The get well wishes took varying forms, but for some reason they were all pea themed..... actual peas, dried peas, split peas, a pea mug and... by far the best peas.... because they're not peas in fact but pea coloured jelly beans!!
thank you all very much - i haven't stopped smiling yet!!! maybe i should leave them here as a welcome home present for mum... ? (not the jelly beans obviously - i'm going to eat them....)

i have my suspicions as to the co-ordinator of the pea wishes....
it was quite funny because the postman handed them over one at a time - and i said "Oh it's for me!", surprised because i wouldn't expect to receive any post here since i don't actually live here.... and then the next one, and the next one.... he looked a little bemused too!
Lisa was amused too - and then started eyeing up my jelly beans - I had to put a stop to THAT right away! fortunately none of the jelly beans are pea flavoured. (How cruel would that be!!!)

Whilst I didn't get any of the real things off to you, I did notice the following whilst enjoying the clockwise M25 returning from Devon the other week:
(probably best to point out that the traffic was stationary at the point I took this pic )
