Got back from Newquay about 5.30 this evening after a great weekend, lots of beer & lots of pasties . Overall the weather wasn't too bad, cold but mostly dry (except for when it lashed it down while I was walking back from the chippy Saturday night ) Not as many people down there this year, although all the caravans were full there wasn't many camping, don't know if the weather forcast put people off this year or what

Enjoyed an excellent run out round Porthtowan & up the North Devon coast Sunday, with plenty of people coming out to watch the Mini's go past.  And to top the weekend we called in to Callestick Farm on the way home to pick up some of there fabulous clotted cream ice cream

"Overall the weather wasn't too bad, cold but mostly dry except for when it lashed it down while I was walking back from the chippy"

We had a lovely time, up by 7am with the kids, in bed early every night and never needed our rain coats. Definitely not as many people there, even saw some empty caravans.

The only downer on the event was the prognosis of my clutch problem, CRANK THRUST BEARINGS. Not what you want to hear before LEJOG.
