get my 1969 MKII (Donald) his Blue and White back on the road!!!
It al start at HImley when I brought a set of 10" Dunlop D1 s for it thinking one day I'll sort it well it's given me a bit of motivation so yesterday I undovered him and tried starting him he will turn over but not fire due to the fuel pump not working tried hitting it with a hammer nothing so going to order a new one while I'm doing that I'm goign to get the bitd I need to refrb the 7.5" Disc brake set up I brought years ago but never fitted my aim is to fit them before he goes back on the road (well as the GOlf has discs all round and Dumbo has Grooved discs and 4 pot calipers I don't think I will be abel to drive it with drums all round!!)

I think I would need to write them a letter saying dear brales I would like to stop at this junstion at this time on this day!!! It's running on the hrdrolastic suspension set up too!

Ordered all the bits from Mini Spares just got to wait for a few bits to come n then I can collect them and hopefully get on with it. Don't think I'll be in it for the LGT as I'm booked in in the Downton and the Downton is more suited to long trips

i hope to be at the lgt this year. just waiting to see if my holiday application has been approved at work, then send off the booking form and cheque.
which reminds me to call my line manager as its been 2 weks since i put my holiday application in and ive not heard back. last time i assumed it was ok i lost my job (though at the moment i don't mind losing this one >)

UPDATE!!
Well spent today working on the MK2 got it to start and afer changing the plugs and restting the points he runs lovely considering it hasn't moved for 7 years!! Drove him out of the garage and on to the and ti felt really good to driv just a few yards. Hoping to et him MOT'd. Not been able to do the disc brake conversion yet as I can not find one of the hubs!!

Today managed to get Donald running and took him out for test drive he seems ok took him up to work as the roads were quite and the garage is next door so hopefully he may have an mot tomorrow fingers crossed
