Is anyone going? We're going with London and Surrey. I know it clashes with the thong run.

Rita says she meant that Beaulieu clashes with the Bromley Pageant. The Thong Run is the same day as Bristol.

She says she's had her hair done today and is more blond than nomal........

And Stacy, she's sorry she got that wrong in the PM she sent you.

We're waiting for our tickets. We've ordered them through London and Surrey. I'm sure Bazzer has it in hand. I think it's £10 on the gate.

Is it Poole Quay friday night? If you see us at Beaulieu, make yourself known, Domino should be a clue.

And don't forget your bananas. When we went to Southport Zoo, really run down and neglected, now closed, we found the chimpanzees entertaining. Marks and Spencers had given them all their out of date fresh cream cakes and they were undoing the packets, licking the cream off and lobbing the remains around their enclosure. Really healthy and hygienic.

Heidi got headbutted by a King Penguin as she went up to it and remembered it when we went back and gave the enclosure a wide berth.

Giving Poole Quay a miss, it's going to be too tight getting down there in time as I wouldn't be able to set out before about 17.00.

I'll probably wear my pink LGT shirt so you should be able to spot me in the crowd

I'll get Andrew to wear his! I've still got to wash it from Bristol mini days. This is getting exciting, bit like a blind date. Krakatoa should be parked on London and Surrey club stand.

Who's going to be Cilla then?  Henri will be parked in the Mini only parking. Lookout for the claret & blue ribbons on the aerial & the Chim Chimini sticker in the rear window

See you all there. I'm on LSMOC stand too - still awaiting tickets though. Was with Bazzer last weekend at the Thong Run, and I know he hadn't received them when he left last Friday.

Bazzer had them yesterday and they had a meeting to discuss how to get them to us. You would hope that 1st class post would suffice but maybe someone will be on the gate. That's what they're doing for Bromley Pageant same day. Should see you sunday then Richard.

Ralph's funeral has been arranged so I guess the mood miight be a little sombre.

Hi Rita, Ticket arrived in the post today, hope yours did too. Bazzer was concerned he might miss the funeral, as he was doing LEJOG - hope it's next week, not the week after. EDIT: Just seen the date on the other thread. Looking it up on Streetmap next, to see if I can make the convoy.

See you Sunday - Jane's coming along (hoping to meet James Martin I think - sad old woman!) [Don't tell her I said that!]

There is only going to be one BINI from Safmini now with 3 bodies in. Not enough interest to drive that far from our crew plus people working etc. Be in the mini only parking ( I hope ) Hope to bump into Bazzer and Richard again after seeing them at the Thong run and be great to see Reet and Andrew again!

Beaulieu was good, blue skies and sunshine. Saw Mr and Mrs Jackson, Karina and her husband and found Jack Nightnare, his family and his car Henri. He was true to his word and wore his pink tee shirt but Andrew chickened out claiming it was not dry(I'd tumbled it!)

It was nice to meet you at last Rita, what's the big fuss about the pink shirt? I wasn't the only one wearing one there today.

Andrew has not got a problem with pink but one of our friends did. He would not wear it out to a meal after the run on the sunday as he had to go and change it before.

Genuinely, Andrew is working through some polo shirts I ironed and creased not realising I could tumble them. He would not waste a machine wash and tumble without wearing them first.

I don't think there's ever been so much discussion about what shirt I have worn. Or not worn. To be honest I'm normally so wrappped up in jumpers, fleeces and coats that it's rare for anyone to see what shirt I'm wearing!

Anyhow, I've worn the pink T-shirt twice in the last month (Brighton and Bristol), which is as much as I've worn the shirt I wore yesterday in over 2 years. I promise I'll wear the pink T at Dartington and at some point on this year's LGT.

Bit late in the saying but loved Beaulieu, great to see Rita and Andrew again, plus Baz and Richard I think. I'm sorry but in true me fashion, I've forgotten the names of the other people on the LSMOC stand. Always been lousey with names... but nice to meet you, chat and thank you for making us welcome on your stand.
