Oh I don't mind dishing out earole clips anyway - you know me
Slightly worrying that Michelle has gone to Shropshire today, she was intending to go in Jock to give him a test run ready for next week!!! sadly he's still being reassembled talk about leaving things till the last minute is it safe to panic yet? no MOT yet so hence no tax arrgghh!!!! Needless to ay she's gone to Shropshire in Gem which means I'm car less for the weekend plus I have the boys tomorrow
Yes well at least you're doing it yourself and know exactly how much time you have (or haven't got) We are reliant on two guys that neither wanted to do the whole job (re-build and spray job) but when it came down to it they obviously didn't want to share the job either There's a lot to be said for taking ourselves off on a car mechanic course, at least we would only have ourselves to moan at instead of going in to the garage - now on a daily basis - fingers crossed Jock will be ready on Monday or Tuesday or ................

we haven't got much to do except... oh i don't know, maybe get the car back?!!!!!!!! Should I be worried yet? He's supposed to be getting his MOT today, so then i can get the tax and then we can drive like loons around the countryside to try and get some miles on him to see if there are any problems...... Apart from anything, I don't know how I'm going to cope in Mini Jock after the op - haven't been out in a classic since september.....
Worried? Me? Hah!

We're setting off from Leeds at 0700, coming down the A61 and A38 - we try not to use motorways on the way there and back.
Not sure if we're going south then west around Birmingham, rather than following the A38 down and having lots of fun thru Bristol again
Any of that cross your path?
I'm meeting my passenger in Bristol.... so that could be of some use if you decide to go that way... my Dad's business is there so plenty of parking and a toilet stop if you need it...
What time is everyone heading down? Any one want to meet on route?
x
We shall be leaving Chard after lunch, heading over the hills to Wellington and then onto Tiverton where we will head onto the atlantic highway. PM if you wish to have my mobile number, in case we meet on the way..
Can somebody remind the thicky bloke from Lincoln were the camp-site is were all heading?
Currently holed up in services near Bristol (I think).
Steart Farm Touring Site Buck's Cross Bideford EX39 5DW
Leave Bideford on the A39 heading for Clovelly, it's just before you get to Buck's Cross itself. You'll be turning right into it, so watch out. It's signposted with the usual brown signs.
Hey, does everyone know that the first camp site is at Steart Farm, EX39 5DW?
It's on the A39, after Clovelly and before Bideford if you're coming from Clovelly or after Bideford and before Clovelly if you're coming from Bideford
select concorde 2 brighton then like 'heartbreaker' thats your only task for the day....do that then do whatever you want, easy! http://toursupport.grahamcoxon.co.uk/
Not sure, I think we're describing the same place, but some people have asked where the camp site is. Last I heard, Steart Farm is between Bideford and Clovelly, on the A39, and someone mentioned EX39 5DW, whatever that means.
I do know though that it's not the same Steart Farm that's on Stewkley Road, Cublington, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 0LR, cos that would be a bit too far away.

Also, if you get to Steart Farm in Bude, you've gone too far (or not far enough).
And if you get to Steart Farm in Cheddar, you've probably also gone too far or not far enough.
Either way, you're in the wrong place - you need the Steart Farm that's between Clovelly and Bideford (or vice versa if you prefer) on the A39, with that EX39 5DW thingy should you need it.

It's on the A39... leave Bideford towards Clovelly, keep a look out for HOOPS INN on the right hand side, Steart farm is about 2 miles further along, on the right hand side, Watch out for the speed bumps as you go down the driveway. The reception is part of the farmhouse at the bottom of the drive. I believe we are staying on 'the bottom burrows' which has a very good sea view. Mr & Mrs Croslegh are very helpful, Chris is a diamond. We stay here for LGT and have a regular pitch booked for every year..

Ah, so that's where we are then - some people have been wondering

Yes, we have the bottom burrows to ourselves, though the trees have been doing that growing thing so we may not see that much sea
Not sure I told everyone but I had to change the campsite
Only joking.
