Hi guys n gals!
Just joined/signed up to your forum.  
Been meaning to get round to it for ages and finally go it sorted!
Had Minis (7 or 8 in total) since I passed my test in 89 and had one as my first car.
Anyhow, just got my hands on a very nice 1986 Mini Chelsea, 2 owners & 44k og miles, and full MOT.
Got it off Fleabay last weekend, it went up for sale on Classifieds last Sat night, it looked good and so did the price so I shot down to Cornwall pretty sharpish Sunday Morning with a good feeling and a lump of bank notes!...............
Anyway paid the price, minus haggle discount etc   and she is now mine, yey!!!!!!!!!!
She is in above average condition for her age and as far as I can tell only ever had her sills done.
Drove her home Sunday with no dramas and to work today so running wise its looking ok (touch wood)
With all old cars its what lies beneath (the filler & fibreglass usually ) so the slow strip down will start soon.
Oh guess I should introduce myself!

PS The Legendary Grand Tour is at the end of August too.... thats a must for any mini owner!!

Yeah am coming along to Dartington Crystal for sure and, and with luck doing the LGT also (as long as Poppy is all in one piece at the time!!!)
