No if Christopher only had an headache every time he woke up none of us would be here. We will never know how things work or why me but Christopher was indeed responsible for that thing at the end of August. When I first meet him he become a hero to me, he didn't carry a gun in his hand nor did he carry a fire hose, he was never attached to a wire harness and lowered out of a helicopter and he never faced a raging sea. But every day he fought a battle with aliens he could not see and the only thing he held in his hand was hope. The young people that we support at the Children's hospice may not look upon themselves as heroes but they are all warriors, they fight battles that we could never imaging everyday of their lives and each one of them knows that one day they may lose. |
