Well today is a very sad dfay we have attended our last MITP
Why is this well since it moved to Santa Pod and was take over from Mini Mag by the events company that runs it, it has lost its way its all about £££££££££££££ now and not the Mini;s/MINI'S and their owners Why MITP was acutally in the Park (Cornbury we used to camp just down the road at a lovely site and have chips delivered from the Chippy in Chipping Norton there were loads of other minis on the same site so we really had 2 shows over the weekend. THe people of chipping Norton and the surrounding areas seamed to love having the Mini's around many times they let on of our group out and allowed all the others tro follow It had a real party feel and and soul now its just about £££ and cars tearing up a bit of tarmac which to me is like watching paint dry I'd rather watch some proper track action. THe traders have stedily got worse and worse when it was at Cornbury you could spend hours looking at trade stands now it takes 30 min max!!!
So today is the end of an era becuase for me what used to be the best static show of the year is now by far the worst RIP MITP we will always remeber you in your glory days

I take it you didn't enjoy it then. We stopped going when they moved it. By the way we went to the very first MITP and won something for our club stand, not a lot but we still have it somewhere.

We went to a few...
We went to the last Cornbury Park one after making special arrangements to drop Snowy off at my parents, as the tickets had said - and the organiser at Mini Mag confirmed - that dogs weren't allowed. We got there and found plenty of dogs, and an organiser's tent who were absolutely convinced that dogs were not a problem and never had been.
It was a great show, but had started going downhill the last couple of years at Cornbury as the Park wanted more and more cash, and the traders didn't want to pay more so stopped going.

No it was rubbish just glad I was give a group of close friends. To be honest we've been saying for a couple of yearsd we may go again this time we deffiently aren't going again I think the first one was in 97 not sire though. It used to be massive the sun woauld always shine no it small not particualy well laid out and boring ouir club stand was right by the road for the cars going down to go on the strip making conversation at time impossible they had 4 lines of traffic going into one with no marshalls controlling it so it took ages to get in
