We can only take 6 minis into Barnstaple carnival but we need collector who would be willing to walk along with us collecting money. The Childrens Hospice will get 80% of whatever we collect so the more we get the more the CHSW will get.

So why not come along and help us raise a bit more dosh buckets are supplied and I will bring some marshals jackets and a few bubbles. If you are really feeling brave how about fancy dress. I will if you will.

I don't mind walking the route as long as I don't have a generator to top up along the way but my everyday gear is fancy enough for me !!

Count me in.

We enjoyed this event last year and walking the route was fun. The buckets got quite heavy.

We happened to be in Devon the weekend of the carnival last year and went along and walked with the buckets.

It was great fun and I'd recommend it, particularly for those who doesn't actually have a Mini - there must be a few of you out there..................

For those of us living away I think the carnival is saturday with steam rally sunday. Not as good as when it used to be held at August Bank Holiday. A few minis light for a start.

Make that £111.88 because I had my roof open on the night to give the crowd something to aim at. When I tidied out Morky in daylight, I found a 5p, 2p and a 1p coin on the floor. The 8p is in one of our pots !!

Yes, a good amount for an evenings work.
