I have to be honest I have been a bit busy with some personal business so I do not have any details. So for once it looks like your on your own. I still have a lot to catch up on but it should be better organized next year. SORRY about that and I am the only person you can blame. No details means no club stand etc.

Just got back fron Castle Combe a very good show and excellent weather. Plenty of stalls and a mini car boot ( as in mini bits not a tiny one) too. Mini World were there on a stand giving away goodies. Only saw one face I recognised but it was very busy.
We had a good day too, spent loads of money getting bits for Scotts pick-up... hopefully it will be on the road soon and we get to have our garage back
Hi, I'm new here, having only bought my Mini Cooper 2 weeks ago. I've always loved Minis, and owned other Rover cars so know all about their heritage, but bit the bullet and bought one!
I went to Castle Combe yesterday, and it was a brilliant day, really enjoyed it and took the car out on the track. I have never driven on a race track before, and the car is completely standard but still had great fun!
just shame about the pheasant the rearraged my grille and spotlights on the Link Road on the way home
I live in Bideford, so no doubt will see many of you around and about.
Welcome Dave I HAVE seen you round a few times and have seen pheasant damage (he used to work on vans for us and still does sometimes) so was honoured to see his mini straight after he picked it up
many thanks for the warm welcome guys!!!!! much appreciated. the car, a he i think, is called 'Hiti, as he is Tahiti Blue, and then to distinguish it from others it has Union Flag centre caps on the wheels, and is R Reg.
as for losing the exhaust, ive caught mine on more than a few occasions so far, but hopefully it will stay there. just avoiding Northam Road in bideford at all costs!

Welcome Dave we also come from Kent and come down for the LGT every year ........... we lost our exhaunt when boarding the ferry to Guernsey one year.....went over a speed hump and it pulled the whole thing off
i do too, though i think jenn might have had enough of bumpstarting it
select concorde 2 brighton then like 'heartbreaker' thats your only task for the day....do that then do whatever you want, easy! http://toursupport.grahamcoxon.co.uk/
well, thankfully ive been able to fix my grille which is ok. not perfect, but the damage is hidden behind the spot lamps. 2 fingers to the pheasant, he paid for it with his life, i paid for it with some self tappers!
also, who's is the very smart blue Cooper Sports pack that i saw in Northam yesterday. on an X plate i think.
cheers, DD
ps, great to see that there is support from across the country on here. i notice that someone is from Leeds which is a bit of a trek. I used to live in Bradford, and pray that the roads in Leeds are better than Bradford.
it wasnt you i saw yesterday Bertie, but that is a gorgeous car. i'm sure i'll see you about at some point, although chances are it'll be when im driving the works van (City Electrical Factors Transit van), but i'll keep my eyes peeled....
still flash your lights - we do in the yellow van share the mini love! Mind u I prob wont see you I never see anyone waving or flashing I am sooo focused on the road I miss everything!
I tend to agree but it sounds as though you concentrate on your driving. My pupils take their eyes off the road to look at the numbers on the gear stick.....

I suppose we all have to learn, but it must be disconcerting - thank goodness for dual controls eh
Yes i defo dont see anyone not even joel waving and flashing in his bright yellow van im totally unaware! what frightens me is when im on a my daily drive and then all of a sudden im aware and im further along the journey then when i was last aware! That frightens me that ive missed sections of the journey - but i must be concerntrating sooo much
How special am I then because you waved at me the other day but come to think of it that was the first time trying to remember what type of wave it was.

It was the Amelia Mini that I saw at Castle Combe this year, wasn't it ? I assumed the lady was from North Devon Mini Register - wrong ! I got talking to her about the Westward Ho ! Controversy.
Driving lessons - I took my first one in the dark to stop me looking for the controls etc !
