Meet Barney

We asked Wood and Picket to look out for a clubbie estate for us. They found one and I told Penny we were going to look at it saturday. She mentioned she saw one being trailered away from her neighbours that day and guess what!? It was the same car. How small a world is that, We went to Penny and Ian's for a meal LGT week and the car would have been 3 doors away. Wood and Picket collected it and we had 1st refusal.

We took him out for a little drive and put Domino in the boot bit but he jumped straight over to the backseat. It did LGT this year but I can't remember it. We named him Barney as he came from Barnstaple. Needs a little TLC but appears a nice clean little car.

No he's a fun working runaround. I'm fed up with the mess Domino makes in the back of Bumble. Barney just needs an autoglym deep clean which products we have in the garage. We don't intend to spend a lot of money on him, for us he's quite original and we will keep him like that. Carol, have a look at LSMOC board, they have a run in your area on 7 november.

Thank you Rita I will have a look, although if we go it will have to be in Gem as Jock has been sorn'd for the winter - tho he still needs cleaning, polishing and putting him under his cover!!! As Michelle is going away for the next couple of weekends it's not going to be any time soon as I'm not doing him on my own, I store him so she can do the cleaning

Nice one Rita, I'm sure he'll do a good job for you. I made up a means of clipping our dog's lead onto the top of the rear shocks, which worked well.

Would you go onto http://www.clubmanestates.co.uk, and get him put on the Register, please? We are trying to have a register of as many as are on the road.

Car registered on CER. I gather from their forum you're not over impressed with their site?......

And fully comp insurance with Adrian Flux £115. I had a policy for Sparky with 5 years no claim, my job they like and Andrew has Lazybones insured with them. The road tax will cost £10 more.

Thanks for registering it on CER. As for their site, it appears that it doesn't like Internet Explorer 8, so I'm trying Firefox to see if it is compatable.
