£40 for a family is steep just to get into a show ground with zero entertainment. We renewed our London and Surrey membership yesterday, it initially seems steep at £30 for both of us but if we were to go to the shows we would save that quite quickly but we don't. Makes us appreciate LGT more.
Bingley is a must do show for us every January. It kick starts our Mini year and is a chance to catch up with folk you haven't seen for months !, as well as grabbing a few bargains which we invariably do. We also buy our tickets online and save £1 pp. Already got a shopping list for this year's visit

We did it by phone this year as we had problems similar to what you are saying.

£15 for a car and 4 peoples is what Silly Mini costs.... And as for the entertainment..... well, we have TERRY the auctioneer........... what more could anyone ask ? LGT is fantastic...... Silly mini is getting there.! Come n try it.
