Unfortunately I will mostly NOT be joining the intrepid crew for the trip up north this year (due to a fight with gravity - I lost ).
In the next week (or perhaps the week after that) I'm going to be thinking of you guys, and hope that the weather's going to good for you (especially through the Trossachs  ).
So raise a glass in "The Star", and think of the daft b***er who fell off his motorbike.
Good Luck Guys, I'll be following Simons Blog, and wishing I was with you.
Save my place for next year Terry!!

Hi Chris
Your not the only one who is going to miss the Lejog this year.

Hello Terry,

Just wanted to say good luck with LEJOG. I am so jealous I am not making it this year, but unfortunately uni studies have meant I cant.
Was the best thing I have ever done with my Mini.

Hope it all goes ok.

Love Sam xx

Sam has already said she is going to do the LGT next year NUT CASE

I for one can't wait! My brain has already packed up work and is eagerly awaiting a nice relaxing holiday... it's a shame i have another week of work and i'm sinking without trace into my todo list...

We have spent today getting Mini Jock all ready - nice new door cards and  chrome wheel arches fitted - door plaques and flowers fitted. Cleany and shiney!!!

OK I am a bit behind but I should pick up the door plaques and flower stickers tomorrow with a bit of luck. I cannot believe just how fast the year is flying past. I have just been so busy.

Depends where "here" is - I take it we're still heading for Steart Farm? They know we're coming, we have the Bottom Burrows to ourselves again...

We'll be aiming for about 1600 on Saturday, depending on the route we eventually decide to take, and whether we manage to avoid the Glastopeeps

I'm enjoying following Dennis. It's more exciting than Tennis and I have fond memories. A shame there is only 3 cars but guys you have our full support!

I'm off sick, have been all last week. I trapped my sciatic nerve in my right leg. I have never experienced such pain it has reduced me to tears. I've not been able to sit, stand, move at all and worst of all can't lie down. Overnight has been awful. The Doctor came thursday and dispensed me strong painkillers that are helping. Andrew is still getting over the £12 I paid a local cab company to get them for me. He nearly came home early.

We think it happened pushing the Auntie uphill in a wheelchair! I can now put a little pressure on my leg  but walking like a chimp grabbing everything in sight.
Again no work. I have a test wednesday I'm hoping I can get her there, well she can drive me but I won't be able to walk round with her. Domino is glaring at me because I can't take him out and is playing Andrew up who is getting up at 4.30 to take him out.

I think I'd rather the tooth out. Don't like dentists. Hope you feel better soon. I don't like getting older. I nearly hired a motorised scooter for a week but Andrew put me off(£110)
