Bumble is 5 years old but has only done 35,000 miles which is low for a driving school car. I keep him clean especially my office inside and he is well behaved. I have had little trouble from him and not so keen on the newer MINIs so even out of warranty I plan to keep him.
Most of my business comes from recommendation but a few ring up and say I saw your car......
I'm planning to give Bumble a face-lift with new graphics and having talked to the guy I use he wants to make him look like an actual bee with the necessary information on the car. He will e-mail me some suggested ideas and I'll post them on here when I get them. I want him to look bold and different but not tacky....
He sent me the 1st draft and had images of the car from 5 years ago when I had the price of £22 per hour on it. I now charge £20 per hour and have no plans to increase it. £24 is the average round here but I'm not greedy. So I hope they don't feel stung.
A bit bold but here is the plan so far. The roof will stay black so ignore the yellow stripes and I will probably have the words Bumble Bee along the sides put on straight. What do you think?

that is fantastic - really you can't have a car called Bumble that doesn't look like a bee. It is odd that the Bumble Bee text doesn't mirror - ie high at front to low at back - on both sides - but i suppose you can only see one side of the car at a time.
I'm liking that a lot!

Yes I agree. It is correct on my car now but thar's why I think I'll have it put on straight.
Not getting off the subject to far I saw the CHSW mini bus the other day at Little bridge House and it was covered in flowers, no idea where they got that idea from. The CHSW now have new sponsorship forms and we are just getting ours modified for the LGT and Lejog. Seems we have a lot to answer for. PS forgot to say how good bumbal looks
I know just joking about the spilling.

it looks very good and Barny is looking nice a shiny too
We have not even washed Barney since we had him. He has been a bit naughty starting. We had electronic ignition fitted and yesterday a new battery but Mike from Wood and Pickett thinks it could be a lazy starter motor. We forgive him.
I'm a bit like that these days a lazy starter, must be me age.
