We will be coming from Burnham too. The begininigs of a North Somerset Grand Tour, so, only 298 minis to go.
Just got mini MOT'd today passed but tester made me remove my Union Jack teddy haging from the mirror and said my grand tour stickers above the tax disc, were within the wiper swipe area, but then so wa the tax disc!!!!. Same garage has passed it for the last ten years without problem. I think he was determined to try and fail it on something.

Our Mini has passed it's MOT for the last few years with North Devon Mini Register across the bottom of the windscreen but this time the garage that has always MOT'd it failed it for having NDMR in the screen. He said the Legislation has been reworded and that it was something they have been told the inspectors will be checking on their visits to the garages.

I will try and find out if any one does magnetic stickers that sticks to glass then you could just whip'em on and off.

I think it depends on how well you know the garage Dumbo passes with his number plates
