We will be coming from Burnham too. The begininigs of a North Somerset Grand Tour, so, only 298 minis to go.
Just got mini MOT'd today passed but tester made me remove my Union Jack teddy haging from the mirror and said my grand tour stickers above the tax disc, were within the wiper swipe area, but then so wa the tax disc!!!!. Same garage has passed it for the last ten years without problem. I think he was determined to try and fail it on something.

Our Mini has passed it's MOT for the last few years with North Devon Mini Register across the bottom of the windscreen but this time the garage that has always MOT'd it failed it for having NDMR in the screen. He said the Legislation has been reworded and that it was something they have been told the inspectors will be checking on their visits to the garages.

Sorry but reluctantly we have to pull out. We moved Andrew's mum and Auntie and there is LOTS still to do. Mum is also confused with the corridors and has been found wandering around "lost".... .....

We really want to go to Beaulieu the following week. I'll have to find a babysitter.

I was hoping to come down but we have nearly finished the garden and garage so we are going to be working on that. Got one more mini to get back home now and maybe we will have room for our van project!

I was really looking forward to tomorrow but life being like it is the Astra needs a new ECU which will not be here until next week, so I have to take Linda to work and pick her up on top of that the dragon in law is here and I had to borrow a car to pick her up in.
So have a nice day.

Swap the dragon in law for an ECU.

We moved Andrew's mum and auntie during the week, it was hectic for them. But mum is confused going to aunties, next door round the corner. Their doors are heavy and Andrew has just gone up to get her and take her home. I thought moving them was for the best.....

sorry to hear that explain the situation to the builder /warden they may be able to wind down the probably fire door mechanism ( sorry thats the wrong spelling ) or they may be able to fit an automatic door opening system cost a bit but sounds like it would be worth it  and perhaps a Carer could take her round and back each day till hopefully she may be able to find her way

Or get a few old garden ornaments to lead the way round giving her familiar visual clues to show her which way to go or the inside of her door an arrow to show whgich way to turn #
hope it gets better

sorry not to see you Terry you will miss your training for putting up the new event tent -----sorry there will be no certificate for you !!!!!!!!!

well we are all back safely a small but very select group

all i can say is yes it was wet and we shall in future be taking  a Chimineria

well done Jo Mike and Hayden for getting home the most unusual Mini accessory (and no it wasnt shiny ) i think in future years we shall all be sporting that particular item possible another reason why people have started running a VW and Mini show  lets just say Mike has successfully combined the two genre perfectly today

Shame it rained. It is here now and overnight. We spent the day doing all the jobs for auntie and my Dragon-in-law. Cooking, cleaning, washing and drying, cooking a meal, putting up pictures. They sat and watched the tennis...............

Who needs a roof rack when you have hazard tape and a couple of cardboard boxes ! it was quite interesting going through the bins.

Jo, I am not a bad influence, Mike really didn't need any encouragement at all
