Hi I am still here, just got this e-mail and what do you think.
Hi Terry,
Our names are Ron & Louise, and we run a video business called R&L Digital Videos, and we are based in ilfracombe. We are working on a project that we think might be of great interest to you, we looking to do a promotional video of Ilfracombe and the surrounding area, and we are looking to do a music video to the music of I've been driving in my car by Madness. We immediately thought of your mini rally. This would involve us filming the mini rally from start to finish, but we also want to incorporate this music video into it, but this would require some ralliers participation. We think that it would be a fun DVD to show, and also do.
There would be no cost to you, we will just require some of your time, but also people will then be able to purchase the finished DVD, and a percentage of the sales made will go towards your charity.
If there are any members of the rally who would like to take part in the video, please ask them to email me at; rldigitalvideos@yahoo.co.uk, or call me on 07813143004.
thanks for your time
Ron & Louise

" I love driving in my car"? Jack Knightmare will confirm. On the run would be hard to participate if it took us away from the run but if they wanted static interviews, that would be ok. We have some people who would be up for this. I'm too camera shy.

"It's not quite a Jaguar" Next verse?

This sounds like a brilliant idea if it helps raise more money for CHSW It would need some planning so it wouldn't interfear with everything else going on

I have e-mailed them asking what is expected of us and said the video of the event would be a good idea.

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS

Hi terry,
Thanks for getting back to us, this is great news.
This is what we want, as many members who can learn the lyrics to the song Driving in my car, by Madness, any members who would like take part, they will need to emails us, and we will send them the lyrics, or we could email the lyrics to you, and you could pass them on.we would also like any members who are up for a giggle, a little bit  of dancing in and around the cars, but we will explain more closer to the time. on the day, any member willing to give a cameraman a lift, so we can get footage of the mini rally through the drivers eyes, also we will need you to inform the marshalls, that we will be filming the event, in the mean time, we will try to get the spectators to join in with singing the song.
If there is anything we need, we will of course email you, and of course if there is anything you need from us, then please do not hesitate to get in touch
Kind regards
Ron & Louise

I think Nigel was right!

We'll all have a bit too much to do to be singing for the cameras.
